Hi, I’m Rachel!
Doctor of Physical Therapy, founder of Roots Performance & Wellness, pelvic floor nerd, weightlifting enthusiast, sunshine chaser, and total coffee snob (the good kind). I created Roots because I believe healing shouldn’t feel clinical or cold—it should feel like coming home to your own body again.
My passion? Helping people move better, feel stronger, and actually understand their bodies. I specialize in orthopedic rehab, pelvic health, performance training, and guiding humans of all kinds—postpartum parents, weekend warriors, desk-sitters, and dream chasers—through personalized, root-cause healing.
But don’t let the credentials fool you—this isn’t your typical stiff PT vibe. I mix evidence-based care with real-world tools and a lot of compassion (plus the occasional bad joke). Whether we’re tackling pelvic pain or powerlifting mechanics, I’m here to make your wellness journey feel less intimidating and a lot more you.
When I’m not coaching clients, you can find me lifting heavy things for fun, hiking and traveling the world, swimming at the beach, hanging with my corgi and cat (professional scene-stealers), riding horses, painting with my mom, playing DnD, or reading fantasy novels in a blanket cocoon. I’m obsessed with learning, movement, and helping people reclaim their strength from the inside out.
